At risk of sounding like a broken record, Lauren Blakely has again written a story that captivated me right off the bat.

The Bromance Zone centers around the story of River and Owen.  We know River as the friendly owner of the bar where Grant and Declan from The Men of Summer series hang out.  Owen is River’s best friend of 8 years, and he is the PR person for one of San Francisco’s pro-baseball teams.

The two of them had made a pact back in their college days that they would NEVER sleep together.  Both of them knowing that boyfriends may come and go, but friendships are forever – as long as you don’t fuck them up by banging.

A Friendsgiving road trip ends up with these two stranded overnight in a gorgeous mountain home, and between the hot tub, the alcohol, and their long-simmering attraction, things get frisky.

The Bromance Zone is super low-angst, super fun, and as always with Lauren, the steamy scenes are SO GOOD.  This is the first book in a new MM series by Lauren, and we got an introduction to TJ, one of the characters in the next book.  As always, I can’t wait to see what she has in store for these genuinely loveable guys!
