So, right off the top, I have to say that there are three things about this book that I adore – first, having a main character who is of Asian descent is awesome. Ridiculously, I think this might be the first romance I’ve ever read where that’s the case. I think it’s fantastic. Secondly, the fact that Lewis has ADHD, and it’s a genuine, not judgy look at what that condition feels like, which I think is amazing and very valuable. (as the mom of a kid with ADHD, I think the representation is a great thing.) And finally, the fact that Felix’s whole family calls his mom’s wife “Mimbles”. I mean come on – how can you not love that! Honestly, Felix’s family dynamic is fantastic. I kinda want to be part of the family – but maybe in small doses only!!
Jason and Felix have a lovely, sweet and low-angst love story that is the perfect capper to the Roll For Love series. I especially liked the epilogue. We get a peek four years into their future – and it’s just as wonderful as you hope for these characters. I’m sad to see this series ending, because I’ve loved all three of the books, but I can’t wait to see what Charlie gives us next!!
